Individual Therapy:

Individual therapy (often called “psychotherapy”) is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a therapist—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging situations, and identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change or improve.

Marriage/Couples Counseling:

Couples counseling is a process through which a couple (i.e., engaged, dating, married, partnered) works with a trained therapist to identify specific areas of conflict and/or aspects of their relationship they would like to change. The therapist and the couple then develops and implements a plan of action to improve each individual’s satisfaction and contentment.

Family Therapy:

Family Therapy is a process through which a family works with a therapist to explore how their individual backgrounds, beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors may be impacting the family dynamic in both positive and negative ways. The therapist may assist the family with addressing any immediate and pressing problems, as well as developing strategies for protecting and enhancing the long-term health and happiness of the family unit.

Group Therapy:

In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) federal, state, and CDC recommendations, we will be postponing groups until further notice.

Clinical Supervision:

Brooke is an approved clinical supervisor for licensed professional counselor (LPC) residents seeking to be licensed in the state of Virginia. Please feel free to contact her at brooke@cloudbreaktherapy.com to discuss setting up supervision and the associated cost.
