Miranda Jones, MA, LPC-Resident

Feeling overwhelmed by life challenges and situations and need to talk to someone? I am here and you are NEVER ALONE!! My counseling style is collaborative and supportive. I will use this throughout our therapeutic relationship to encourage and engage you in the process of achieving healing, well-being, and resilience in all areas of your life.
I aim to use a multi-disciplinary approach to find solutions, heal trauma, and build and improve relationships. Together, we will explore your stressors and triggers to identify negative life impacts, gaining insight into patterns of behaviors and emotions. I strive to help clients achieve their inner desires of well-being and conquer their challenges. Because you matter!
With over 6 years of experience in the mental health field, my passion for wellness continues to grow. Previously, I worked as a psychiatric technician for Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute. While there, I completed my undergraduate in psychology and continued on to receive my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
