Miranda Jones, MA, LPC-Resident

Feeling overwhelmed by life challenges and situations and need to talk to someone? I am here and you are NEVER ALONE!! My counseling style is collaborative and supportive. I will use this throughout our therapeutic relationship to encourage and engage you in the process of achieving healing, well-being, and resilience in all areas of your life.

I aim to use a person-centered, psychoanalytic, and existential approach to find solutions, heal trauma, build and improve relationships, and work through triggers and pain.

I have 2 and a half years' experience in the mental health field. Previously, I worked as a psychiatric technician for Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute for a year, while completing my undergraduate in psychology. I recently received my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
